Call for Abstracts for the
LSRS 20th Annual Meeting held MAY 6-7, 2027

The LSRS Program Committee welcomes all investigators to submit original clinical, biomechanical, or translational research for presentation at the 2027 Annual Meeting. While all original research is welcome, we will give extra consideration to special interest topics for this year's meeting to include investigations focusing on artificial intelligence, adjacent segment disease, deformity approach to degenerative disease, and endoscopy. Additionally, while all submissions will be considered on their own research merit, we will de-emphasize studies derived strictly from retrospective review of national databases.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Please read this page in its entirety so you are able to start collecting pertinent information well in advance of your actual submission.
Abstracts should include Background/Introduction, Materials/Methods, Results, and Discussion/Conclusion sections.
Abstracts must be restricted to a firm 350 type written words.
Abstracts may include a single figure, image, table or graph uploaded in a separate submission page in JPEG format.
If your abstract is greater than 350 words or includes more than one figure, table, or graph, it will not be sent out for review.
Abstracts may not be submitted to more than one category.
Abstracts that have been submitted to the LSRS in previous years, and have not been accepted for poster or oral presentation, are eligible for submission but must contain updated information for consideration.
Abstracts will be evaluated blindly by the Program Committee reviewers.
Abstracts accepted for presentation will be included in the 20th Annual Meeting Scientific Program as an oral/podium presentation or as a poster.
Submitting authors will receive acceptance or regret notices in February of 2027.

All authors added to the abstract will be notified via email.
Submitters may revisit the site as often as necessary to edit their submission prior to the submission deadline.
