Please contact us at LSRS@LSRS.ORG if you would like further details on any of the opportunities listed below.
Committee Involvement
The LSRS invites members to participate in committees. Terms typically last two years. Members may submit a committee interest form at any time during the year. Committee rotations occur annually, aligned with the LSRS Annual Meeting.
Annual Meeting
The LSRS Annual Meeting offers members a variety of ways to contribute and participate. Share your research by submitting an abstract, lead meaningful discussions as a session moderator, and more. Registration for the LSRS Annual Meeting is included as a benefit of active membership. Annual dues cover the cost of meeting registration, regardless of whether a member attends. Members must still complete the registration process in order to receive a conference badge and access meeting sessions.
Educational Webinars
LSRS members receive exclusive access to live and on-demand educational webinars led by experts in the field of lumbar spine research and care. These sessions are designed to keep you informed on emerging science, clinical advancements, and evolving best practices. Webinars offer convenient, accessible learning opportunities throughout the year—free with your membership. LSRS has an extensive library of educational content located on the LSRS YouTube Channel.
Mentorship Program
The LSRS Mentorship Program is designed to support members in the first 10 years of clinical or research practice by connecting them with experienced LSRS Members who are leaders in the field of lumbar spine care. This structured, year-long program fosters professional growth, leadership development, and meaningful connections within the LSRS community.
Mentees benefit from career advice and support navigating the early stages of their professional journey. Whether you're in academic, clinical, or research practice, the program provides a valuable opportunity to learn from those who have successfully advanced in the field.
Applications open annually—participation is limited to ensure meaningful engagement. Watch your inbox in the new year.
Research Grants
Each year, the LSRS awards research grants to support innovative projects that advance the field. In the selection process, priority is given to proposals submitted by LSRS members.
